Faith Leaders
When people need guidance, they turn to the faith community. Faith leaders must answer that call for help.
AIDS affects us all, no matter where we live or how we worship. HIV/AIDS imperils our families, the cornerstones upon which spiritual and physical well-being are built. It endangers our communities, the circles of concern, care, and compassion that sustain us.
This challenge provides an opportunity for leaders across all religious affiliations to unite for the common purpose of informing those at risk, dispelling stigma and providing care and compassion for those who are affected by HIV/AIDS.
Now, more than ever, the faith community is needed to affirm the sacred worth of all persons and to serve as a resource of hope in times of crisis.
