Linda Alvarado is president and CEO of Alvarado Construction, a general contracting firm based in Denver, and co-owner of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. Ms. Alvarado made history as the first woman and the first Hispanic to participate in a successful bid for ownership of a Major League Baseball franchise.
Ms. Alvarado has been voted one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the nation and speaks nationally and internationally, inspiring others to achieve their goals. She has won a long list of awards, was inducted into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame, and is a Horatio Alger Award honoree.
Respected for her leadership abilities, Ms. Alvarado sits on the boards of several major corporations and is the Chairman of the Board of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She formerly served on then-President Bill Clinton’s Advisory Commission of Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans.
