Bishop Albert Mutti serves as Bishop-in-Residence at the Saint Paul School of Theology.
Throughout his ministry, Bishop Mutti has worked for ecumenical cooperation among the churches, including serving as president of the United Methodist General Commission on Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns from 2000-2004.
Bishop Mutti is a member of the United Methodist Global AIDS Fund Committee and the author of Faithful Members: Doctrines and Duties of the Christian Faith and The Acacia Tree: A Devotional on Mission in Southern Africa. Bishop Mutti has written for Upper Rooms Disciplines, Circuit Rider, and Church School Magazine.
Since the death of their two oldest sons, Bishop Mutti and his wife have given national leadership to HIV/AIDS education, events, and ministries. They are advocates for a church policy of openness and hospitality for all persons.
